‘Twas a different form of design that originally brought Space Outfit Founder Audi Martel to interiors—fashion design. After a decade long career as a fashion model and exposed to the world’s most renowned designers, stylists, rich ornate fabrics, and a myriad of the cultures Audi learned by osmosis in the world’s greatest design studios. She was a long time fashion house muse of Carolina Herrera (as well as Zac Posen) and observed endless design themes with each collection process—studying the iconic persons, art, literature, film, and historic locations that served as inspiration.

Following her career in fashion, Audi, a natural aesthete, found herself designing everything from fine jewelry to album cover art and gained her interior design experience organically by purchasing several "diamond in the rough" properties and transforming them into something sublime and profitable. The result of her work led to word of mouth referrals for a variety of projects. Her interior styling has been referred to as “experiential”. She loves to develop a theme with her clients for their space, inspired by an era, a persona, a mood, or intent, while always keeping the space's functionality, practicality, and comfort in mind. She’s passionate about color, texture, mixed motif, originality… and her clients’ favorite, bargains.
